1. Is FamilyCare Funeral Trust an insurance company?
No, FamilyCare is a services company offering both prepaid and contract funeral packages to the general public at affordable rates.
2. How do I become a prepaid member?
To become a member, sign up online or reach us on +233 26 262 6181 for assistance. You will need a completed application, a valid national ID, medical information, the joining fee and the first month’s contribution.
3. Can I make changes to my prepaid funeral plan?
Yes, you can modify your prepaid funeral plan at any time. Contact our office, and we’ll assist you with the necessary adjustments.
4. Can I trade my services for cash?
No. None of the FamilyCare prepaid packages are convertible to cash.
5. How do I put in a claim as a member?
At the death of any member, you will need a completed FamilyCare claim form, a Medical Certificate of Cause of Death if the death happened in hospital, or a police and coroner’s report if it happened outside the hospital.
